Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LightFollows, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. Description of Service

LightFollows is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform delivered entirely electronically. Subscribers receive access to a web-based social media marketing (SMM) panel, an analytics dashboard, and a reseller API that allow them to place promotion orders (such as followers, likes, views, and engagement) for public profiles and content on third-party social networks. All services are purely digital; no physical goods are shipped.

Orders are fulfilled on a best-effort basis through upstream API providers. We do not own, control, or guarantee the behavior of the third-party social platforms.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

Access to LightFollows is sold as a recurring subscription on monthly or annual billing cycles. By starting a subscription you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your chosen payment method:

• The plan price displayed at checkout, plus any applicable taxes.
• Automatically at the start of each renewal period until you cancel.

Prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of VAT, GST, sales tax, and other indirect taxes, which are calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location. We may change subscription pricing from time to time; any price change will apply to subsequent billing cycles and you will be notified at least 14 days before it takes effect.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support@lightfollows.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which access is downgraded or removed.

5. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Refund eligibility, the 14-day EU/UK statutory withdrawal right for digital services, and how to request a refund are described in detail in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

Payments on LightFollows are processed by third-party payment providers. Where we use Paddle.com Market Limited or its affiliates ("Paddle"), Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for that transaction. This means Paddle is the seller of record on the receipt, handles billing, payment authorization, fraud screening, tax calculation and remittance, and chargeback handling. The Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms also apply to those purchases.

For payments processed through other providers shown at checkout, the equivalent buyer terms of that provider apply.

7. Account Registration

You may create an account using email and password, or by signing in with Google. When you use Google Sign-In, your name, email address, and profile picture are shared with us as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use LightFollows to:

• Promote illegal content, hate speech, harassment, terrorism, or violence.
• Promote sexually explicit, pornographic, or CSAM-related material.
• Order services for accounts or content you do not own or have permission to promote.
• Promote firearms, illicit drugs, counterfeit goods, or other items prohibited by our payment processor's acceptable-use policy.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent affiliation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse our systems.
• Violate the terms of any third-party social media platform.
• Engage in fraudulent payment activity or initiate chargebacks without first contacting support to resolve the issue.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, and may be reported to our payment processor and to law enforcement where required.

9. Orders and Delivery

Order delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Some orders may experience delays due to upstream provider issues or third-party platform changes. We will make reasonable efforts to complete every order or issue a partial refund to your wallet balance where delivery is impossible, in line with our Refund Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The LightFollows name, logo, website design, software, and all related content are our property and protected by copyright and trademark law. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your own internal business purposes during your active subscription. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or resell our materials outside of the scope of your subscription without written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

LightFollows is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that orders will produce specific business outcomes, account growth, or engagement levels on third-party platforms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightFollows is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or social media account actions taken by third-party platforms (suspensions, bans, visibility changes). Our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or statutory consumer rights).

13. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes affecting your rights or fees will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of LightFollows after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LightFollows is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@lightfollows.com and allow us a reasonable opportunity (at least 30 days) to resolve the issue. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
