Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you can request a refund for LightFollows subscriptions, wallet deposits, and individual orders. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Statutory consumer rights in your country always apply in addition to this policy.

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU / UK / EEA)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a digital subscription purchase within 14 calendar days of the order, without giving any reason.

Important — express consent: If you begin using the service (placing an order, calling the API, or accessing paid features) during the 14-day window, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Where you used the service partially, we may charge a pro-rated amount for the portion already delivered.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, email support@lightfollows.com from the address on your account with the subject "Withdrawal request". We will confirm within 1 business day and issue the refund within 14 days to the original payment method.

2. Subscription Refunds

  • Monthly subscriptions: the most recent payment may be refunded if you have not used the service in the current billing period and you contact us within 7 days of the charge.
  • Annual subscriptions: a pro-rated refund of the unused months is available within 30 days of purchase if the service has not been substantially used. Substantial use means consuming more than 20% of the included monthly order volume or API quota.
  • Auto-renewal charges: if a subscription auto-renewed and you did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it provided no usage has occurred in the new period.
  • Cancellation: cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not by itself trigger a refund of the current period.

3. Wallet Deposits

Funds added to your LightFollows wallet remain usable for any service on the panel indefinitely. Wallet deposits are generally non-refundable to the original payment method once funds have been spent, but the unspent balance may be refunded in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental deposit reported within 7 days.
  • The service you intended to buy is permanently unavailable.
  • Required by applicable consumer protection law.

4. Order-Level Refunds

  • Failed or cancelled orders are automatically refunded to your wallet within minutes.
  • Partial orders are refunded proportionally for the undelivered quantity.
  • Refill-protected services are covered by the refill window listed on the service page; request refills via your dashboard. If a refill cannot be completed, we refund the affected quantity to your wallet.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot issue refunds where:

  • The order has been delivered successfully (volume reached the requested amount).
  • Loss is caused by the third-party social platform (e.g. drops after platform cleanup or account suspension) and the service has no refill guarantee.
  • The account or content violated our Terms of Service or the acceptable-use policy of our payment processor.
  • You initiated a chargeback without first contacting support — in that case the account may be suspended pending resolution.

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@lightfollows.com from the address on your account.
  2. Include your order ID or subscription ID and a short description of the issue.
  3. We will respond within 1 business day and complete approved refunds within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Refunds processed through Paddle (where Paddle is the Merchant of Record) are returned by Paddle directly to the original card or wallet; processing times depend on your bank.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We work hard to resolve every issue directly. Please contact us before filing a chargeback — most disputes can be resolved within 1 business day. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and may be reported to our payment processor.
